- PAYMENT
Payment for purchased lots at any Antiquorum auction is due within 7 days of the sale date.
For traditional Auction in Geneva : • For traditional auctions, the buyer’s premium is payable as follows: 18% on the first SFr. 100,000 of the hammer price, 15% from SFr. 100’001 to SFr. 250’000 and 12% on the hammer price amount in excess of SFr. 250,000.– On the fall of the gavel, liability for the knocked-down lot (or lots) passes to the bidder whose bid has been accepted. The lots are delivered to the buyer when the hammer price and the buyer‘s premium are paid in full.
V.A.T. (value added tax) of 7,6% is due on all purchases. Wholesalers, on presentation of their card, may be exempted from payment of this tax.
Buyers domiciled abroad are refunded this 7,6% only on receipt by Antiquorum S.A. of an export declaration duly stamped by Swiss Customs.
PAYMENT in New York
Payment for purchased lots is due within 7 days of the sale date.
• For traditional auctions, the buyer’s premium is 18% on the first US$ 80,000 of the hammer price, 15% from US$ 80,001
to US$ 200,000 and 12% on the hammer price amount in excess of US$ 200,000.
• Buyers are required to pay New York City sales tax of 8.375%. Items are exempt from sales tax if shipped to any location outside
of New York State. Members of the trade who have valid New York resale certificates are also exempt from sales tax.
• Extended payment terms, or special credit terms can, on occasion, be arranged only by prior agreement.

• Accepted methods of payment for traditional auctions are: cash, wire transfer or check. Antiquorum USA no longer accepts credit
cards as a form of payment for items purchased during the traditional auction.
• Wire transfer payments need to add to the invoice total the wire transfer fee (if applicable) imposed by your financial institution.
• Check payments must be made with the United States as country of issue.
For traditional Auction in Hong Kong:
• For traditional auctions, the buyer’s premium is payable as follows: 18% on the first HK$ 600,000 of the hammer price, 15% from HK$ 600,001 to HK$ 1,500,000 and 12% on the hammer price amount in excess of HK$ 1,500,000.
