Ok, this watch is actually quite big and is a heavy sports chronograph, the case is in the classic Zenith Pilot style of the 60's with bevelled edges on the lugs which are themselves 22mm. The case and bezel are polished stainless steel and look very bright but as the palins are not very big it does not look too polished, AKA some of the new Breitling things. (although they are getting better). The bezel insert is matte textured black with the markers being matte silver out of black with a 15 minute countdown as is now a standard feature of dive watch bezels but before dive watches it was also a feature of pilot watches.
Dimensions: 40mm across inc. crown * 46.5mm long * 13.5mm deep
The dial markers have aged to a pale yellow that matches the 'ectremely cool sword hands) which Zenith stopped making not long after thiswatch was in production. The hands became mercedes hands like Rolex and the pushers became shoulered and then screw in as I imagine Zenith where matching the Rolex Daytona who bought the raw ebauche el primero 400 movements to fit out the Daytona. See hwat I mean about making bad choices, if you are producing one of the 'best' looking watches with the best movement of all time then why bother to try and match Rolex?
