Por fin Sellita mueve ficha frente a la competencia. En respuesta al Powermatic 80 del grupo Swatch, y al G100 de La Joux-Perret, Sellita actualiza su calibre "base", que ahora pasa a llamarse SW200-2. El nuevo calibre pasa a tener 65 horas de reserva de marcha, sin reducir las alternancias. Además, puede sustituir al calibre que "jubila" en los modelos que lo monten.
