The strap has waves, so I used this concept to the hands. There are no straight lines so the hands have motion. I modified the profile of a shark for the hour and minute hands. The second hand uses a sting ray barb. I also wanted the design to be manufacturable, easy to read when diving and could be trademarked with a little refinement. Still needs work, but the idea is there.

My father and I like the idea of non-straight asymmetric hands that have a story behind (such as harpoon tips, sea patterns, submarine shapes or marine animals profiles). We believe if we could just spot a diver watch by having a look to the hands, that would be the best.
After you mentioned the shark profile, I started thinking about adding fins to the hand (even to the middle of the hand, to make it even more original).
The only detail we about your hands we don't like that much is the rounded tip of the hour and minute hands (in our first Oceana prototype, the one shown in our website, the hands are too rounded and that difficults a bit reading the time). As you see the "sting ray" hand is much more precise, why not using this shape for the hour and minute hands?

Estamos pensando en hacer dos juegos de agujas: un juego con lineas sencillas, rectas y sin recargamiento (por ejemplo como estas), y otras con un diseño mas original (arpones/submarino/animales marinos).
Asi que de momento, no pongamos fin a todas nuestras ideas y despues ya haremos un refinamiento y seleccion

Interesting. I used Visio and couldn't get the tips the way I wanted but posted anyway to get some ideas. I agree that a rounded tip will not work, but I couldn't get the software to sharpen the tip. I would laos like the transition on the side of the hour and minutes to be sharper. As for the shark tails, how about adding some color to them to keep the idea of a depth gauge?

Una idea... dejar la horaria como esta, y cambiar la minutera por algo parecido a la foto... como quedaria? Podriamos hacerlo con las puntas mas afiladas o redondeadas, con menos puntas, etc etc

Yeah, I also think about that. On the attached pics i've found some harpoon tips (as the tips are just on one side, they have some resemblance with shark fins), we could colour each of the "fins" in a different colour to continue with the depth gauge idea.
Tomorrow I'll try to draw the shark fin hand, I can't google for anything similar
