Este es un "Mod" que un amigo y yo hicimos hace unos meses. Compre un mod con la esfera fabricada por otro compañero. Intercammbie la esfera y la puse en un 6309-7040 junto con el "bezel" de un Seiko Tuna, y agujas de Bill Yao. El dia y la fecha son en ingles e italiano, y salieron de un Seiko 6119. La correa la ordene de una compañia en Alemania. Cuando terminamos quedamos con suficientes partes para ensamblar el reloj naranja, dos 6309's de caja pequeña, modificados (tienen esferas de 7040) y un 7040 100% original.

TXAndy dijo:Isthmus came over this afternoon to have me play with some Seikos for him. We started with five, and four nice ones were left at the end.
The whole purpose was to make the orange dialed Doxa-type. We swapped out the chapter ring, dial, hands, a bezel from a Tuna, and put in black date and day wheels. It came out very, very nice. Much better than we were expecting.
It took a lot of time, a six-pack, two pizzas, and some patience. I haven't worked on any Seikos before, but after the first two I got the hang of it
