Permitidme un apunte a lo Petete por evitar un error muy extendido y para que no lo confundamos con los lápices. El mineral en el que se basan estas plumas es el
Lapis Lazuli, que es un término latino. Os copio la wiki-etimología del término:
Lapis is the
Latin for "stone" and
lazuli the
genitive form of the
Medieval Latin lazulum, which is taken from the
Arabic لازورد lāzaward, which is from the
Persian لاژورد
lāzhward, the name of a place where lapis lazuli was mined.

lapis lazuli means "stone of Lāzhward" Qué en esencia dice que
Lapis en latín significa "piedra" y el resto es el nombre del lugar donde se encontraron las primeras minas de Lapis Lazuli.
