This is exact copy of Soviet Commander Watch for Top Officers of Red Army produced by the factory during WWII. All Soviet military aircrafts were equipped with the clocks made in 1stMWF Kirova (First Moscow Watch Factory Kirova) during World War II. Military pilots and navigators also used Kirova brand wrist watches. Due to their irreproachable reputation all products of 1stMWF Kirova were given "POLJOT" ("Flight" in English) brand name after World War II.
Movement: Mechanical Poljot 3133 caliber, hand-wound, diameter 31 mm, height 7.35 mm, 23 Ruby jewels, 42-hour power reserve with chronograph switched off, 37-hour power reserve with chronograph switched on.
Functions: Chronograph, stopwatch with 30-minute summing action, hours, minutes, seconds, date-of-the month.
Case: Round, all stainless steel, diameter 43 mm, height 13.6 mm, mineral glass, screwed caseback, numbered edition etched on caseback. The sign on the back side: The order of the Ministry of Defence of Russian Federation. Water Resistant 5ATM or to 50 m. Shock protection.
Dial: Black, Arabic numerals, hands are coated with luminous Super LumiNova® paint, making it easier to see in the dark. Sweep-type chronograph second hand.
Indicators: side hand of minute counter at "3 o'clock" position, date window at "6 o'clock", second counter is at "9 o'clock" position.
